Paddlers on Indiana’s Blue River take note! Your friends at Cave Country Canoes have a new home on the web!

What’s New

Our new site features a blog, a bi monthly newsletter and an opportunity for paddlers to share their experiences. Story and photo submissions are encouraged and story sharing paddlers just might receive a free pass for canoeing and walking tours at Marengo Cave for their willingness to share.

We have made many changes at the livery this summer to help you have a great time on the river. Now, we have a new way to share more with you-our loyal customers.

Sharing your stories

We know you had an adventure-maybe your first paddling stroke was on the Blue, or you got engaged on a gravel bar. Maybe you have a tale to tell, the fish that got away or the day your husband flipped the canoe and your food-and camera-took a swim. Share. Each month one of you will win an “Explore Pass” to canoe the Blue and check out Marengo Cave with your three closest peeps. Don’t hold back, share your story and photos.

The Blog

Blogging is a new adventure for us. We promise to range up and down the river reporting current conditions, natural features, wildlife sightings, local history, local “doin’s”, paddler updates from novice to veterans and staff activities and musings. We have stories too, news, and river ramblings.

If you can’t paddle on the 27th, check in and let us know what you think and how we can better serve the paddling community. We appreciate your support and enthusiasm for the river and paddling and would love to hear from you! How can we help you plan your next adventure? Your feedback is important to us.

We wouldn’t be here without you – our loyal paddlers. Let us know what you think of the new site via our Facebook page or by “contacting us” from the website.

Mention you read the blog when you rent your boat this season and you will get a free “thank you” gift!
